Marketing Manager,Challenges and Events - Innovation platforms- SCVentures
In the context of facilitating innovation, SC Ventures developed 2 platforms:

- SC Ventures Fintech Bridge: a global external platform which seeks to increase and accelerate the connections between the start-up ecosystem, the bank stakeholders and our corporate clients for business purpose. This platform proposes match-making between startups and bank business owners, business problem statements to solve and registrations events.

It has powered its first successes with +500 startups registered at global scale (startups from 35 countries) in a few months which lead to our first successful business problem tackled.

- SC Innovate: Full internal Innovation pipeline platform to follow-up innovation journeys such as ideation challenges (for intrapreneur and ventures), creation of ventures and testing specific technologies. With +20,000 users, this platform identified some of new bank products and ventures.

These 2 platforms are interconnected and works as a single platform.

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Marketing/Communication Manager to embark on a journey to help drive the next iterations in the development of SC Ventures Fintech Bridge and SC Innovate with the different communities among users and stakeholders .We are looking for a Marketing/Communications who has experience in these key areas of responsibility with this role:

Develop and implement the Fintech internal events/conferences plan

•Identify key Fintech-Digital events/conferences (e.g SG Fintech Festival Lab Crawl/ HK Fintech week/Money2020) for SC Ventures to participate in and be able to accurately assess the mileage that each event brings

•Identify the key partners such as VC, Fintech associations to run co-events with objective to connect business stakeholders with new startups

•Manage the development and implementation of comprehensive marketing plans for internal and external events + conferences, including working closely with the communication manager, the event agency and the office manager of SC Ventures team

•Track the efficiency (leads) of SC Ventures participation in internal/external events

Develop and manage communication for the platforms

•Work closely with the communication manager of SC Ventures team to create internal and external communication messages and collaterals including internal newsletter, web pages, social media to promote and update the different internal and external stakeholders (startups, VC, internal business stakeholders, senior management...) related to internal and external challenges and platforms' activities

•Create and update regularly narratives and information packs

Develop and execute the internal, external challenges and events for the 2 platforms.

•Support and work closely with venture- intrapreneur teams when developing internal challenges/events; internal stakeholders and clients for external challenges/events by drafting and posting the challenge online, promoting internally and externally, tracking the challenge process and organising pitch sessions

•Manage and track challenges on the platforms from the brief till the end of the challenge

•Work closely with the product owner of the platforms to update on the planned challenge and events activities


-2-4 years of experience in event management, communication and project management or similar
-Understanding fintech ecosystem and real experience with the ecosystem will give you the edge
-Superior project management skills, managing multiple projects simultaneously and providing clear communication of timelines and expectations to team members
-Excellent organizational and time management skills
-Self-starter who can come up to speed quickly and identify the problems that need to be solved
-Excellent communication skills - ability to state things simply and persuasively for a variety of audiences - internal, external, business and technical
