A Top Tier Investment Bank is currently looking for a CEM Middle Office Project Manager to join their team. The successful applicant will drive and execute projects focused on new business development, operational efficiencies, scalability and regulatory requirements

Team Background:

The Asia Currencies & Emerging Markets Middle Office Project Team is responsible for a multitude of projects spanning the below areas across Fixed Income, Macro Rates, FX and Credit business lines:

  • Global strategic business-driven initiatives
  • New products or new business initiative reviews
  • Industry initiatives
  • Regulatory driven initiatives
  • Operational efficiency & automation initiatives

As part of the role you will need to effectively partner with numerous teams such as Front Office (Trading, Sales, and business management), Legal, Compliance, Middle Office, Back Office and Investment Banking wide PMO teams on a daily basis.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Act as a project manager and business analyst in managing end to end project governance including RAIDS, operational readiness and co-ordination of testing
  • Drive and execute projects focused on new business development, operational efficiencies, scalability and regulatory requirements for Currencies & Emerging Markets business
  • Coordinate and collaborate across multiple front to back teams to capture and document requirements
  • Drive working groups for multiple projects and manage stakeholder engagement at senior level
  • Review and interpret regulatory guidelines
  • Design appropriate operating models to implement efficient procedures and processes
  • Documentation of operating controls, workflows and roles and responsibilities

Required skillsets:

  • Bachelor's Degree is required
  • Product knowledge of fixed income and rates products
  • At least 3 years of experience working in change management/ project management for Financial Services Industry
  • Experience in stakeholder management with effective communication skills preferred
  • Experience in managing Benchmark Reform projects will be highly preferred
  • Proven track record in delivering complex projects on behalf of Front Office / Operations
  • A strong sense of ownership and responsibility with quick grasp of technical issues
  • Possess excellent communication skills and team player
