Position Description

The role rolls up to the wider GMO umbrella which has functions such as Operations and Trade Control teams which own all of the operational side of processing post trading.

This is a Trader assistant role mostly requiring trades capture into various systems on behalf of traders..

Key Responsibilities

  • Timely and Accurate trades booking into risk system on behalf of trader.
  • Prepare various reports (Fixing / Cashflow / Expiry / Risk,etc…) for the trading desk.
  • Initiate broker/banks onboarding in internal system.
  • End of Day flash PnL reporting.
  • Part of GMOMO team, the TA should have strong communication skills and be the liaison between trading and MO teams.
  • Ad hoc request/query from their respective trading desk.

Key Requirements
  • Degree qualification is essential.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience.
  • The candidate must demonstrate maturity, sense of urgency and have a good understanding in the derivatives sales and trading flows.
  • We are seeking a dynamic candidate who is quantitative, analytical, proactive, a team player, able to work under pressure and to tight time constraints and has excellent attention to detail.
  • This position requires daily liaison with many different groups across the organization and so, candidates must have a high level of communication and interpersonal skills.
