Position Overview


eDiscovery Operations is responsible for identification, preservation, and collection of electronically stored information in response to internal or external investigations. Reporting to eDiscovery Operation's Regional Head of Client Request Management, the role of the Client Services Analyst is to support the successful delivery of eDiscovery services across a portfolio of cases / matters, serving as a key contact and liaison between the client base (e.g. Legal, Audit, Anti Financial Crime, Compliance) and eDiscovery's data operations teams and associated vendors. The candidate will be a highly professional and organized individual with excellent communication skills. They will have a good technical background and at least 2 years' experience working in the eDiscovery industry.

Key responsibilities (CRM):

  • Manage service delivery for assigned cases / matters and support client requirements throughout the entire eDiscovery lifecycle.
  • Support process assurance and quality checks of data and information requests.
  • Anticipate, analyze and resolve risks and issues while managing clear and concise communications and organizational escalation.
  • Develop collaborative and high quality working relationships with client groups, outside counsel and data processing vendors.
  • Collaborate on internal eDiscovery projects and initiatives in order to deliver service improvement to the organization.

Key responsibilities (Data Operations):
  • Perform data retrieval, data packaging and records keeping processes
  • Apply all internal and external policies/guidelines and requirements to agreed SLAs, KRIs and/or KPIs and quality measures.

Candidate will have: (Legal eDiscovery Knowledge):
  • Knowledge of the EDRM framework and standards.
  • Some awareness and understanding of legal procedure, process and regulation.

Candidate will have: (Technical Skills):
  • Some experience with eDiscovery and forensic technologies, techniques and workflows.
  • A basic knowledge of enterprise level infrastructure and technology, for instance, messaging applications, business applications, databases, servers, backup and storage, compliance archiving.

Candidate will have: (Soft Skills):
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) to engage and influence across a range of backgrounds and levels of seniority.
  • Good project management skills and experience with an emphasis on structure, attention to detail and timely delivery.
  • Ability to manage and navigate through a matrix organization in order to deliver positive and consistent outcomes.
  • A collegial style and focus for innovation and collaboration with all stakeholders.
  • Capability to understand technical information and issues and translate it into terms and language non-technical persons can understand and relate to – e.g. legal teams and external counsel.

Candidate will have: (Education):
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.

Candidate will have: (Experience):
  • Relevant experience working for a large corporate, law firm or in a professional services environment (e.g. consulting).
