Start your career with Bank of Singapore as an Operational Specialist (1 Year Contract) in our Static & Reference Data Management, Post Trade Services Team! !
General Descriptions:
  • Ad hoc tasks as assigned by Line Manager
  • Ensure the processes are executed in line with the standard operating process of the team
  • Execute the control framework of the team (eg. EOD checklist, incident management, etc)
  • Execute the client delivery framework and achieve client satisfaction
  • Handhold exceptions and escalations until the event is complete
Main Duties:
  • End to end processing for static and reference data management.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive and create security instruments (Equity/Bond/Fund/Structured Notes) and counterparty information
  • Update instrument and counterparty information
  • Update other non-client/non-instrument general statics such as holiday tables, market charges setup
  • Setup of nostro cash account
  • Setup of client cash current account
  • Updating debit/credit interest in the system


Qualifications
Work Requirements
  • Polytechnic or University degree
  • Clear written & verbal communication skills with all levels of staff
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft applications
  • 1-2 years relevant knowledge in Operations, Treasury and/or Securities related (Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply)
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, able to interact effectively with various stakeholders
  • Team Player
  • Strong problem-solving skills for complex matters and eye for detail and accuracy
  • Analytical and process minded, understand processes and workflows from start to finish
