General Summary:
The Payment Card Industry (PCI) Specialist is a critical, cross-sector role to facilitate and execute Citi's compliance with PCI across all of its payment card functions. This includes providing input and support to the strategic direction of the program, the tactical execution and ensuring that PCI Compliance is fully integrated across Citi.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive day-to-day execution of the PCI Program across Citi's Global Consumer Bank and Citi's Institutional Clients Group
  • Responsible for monitoring and tracking PCI Compliance for Citi's acquiring, issuing, processing, merchant and service provider businesses
  • Recommend changes and enhancements or additions to security controls of business applications that store, process and transmit payment card data
  • Provide oversight into PCI Compliance enforcement for third parties that support Citi and its businesses
  • Work with business and technology teams to incorporate PCI Compliance requirements into their strategy and roadmaps
  • Ensure Payment Card functions are in compliance with PCI standards
  • Work with Policy and Standards team to integrate PCI Compliance aspects into Citi's current policy and risk management processes
  • Drive PCI training and awareness activities across the company
  • Maintain certification as an Internal Security Assessor (ISA)
  • Conduct PCI-DSS Assessments on major programs across Citi
  • Provide ad hoc PCI expertise to Citi staff and partners
  • Support risk assessments and audits
  • Interpret PCI standards to applicability to Citi businesses
  • Support external PCI QSA, interpret results and lead remediation efforts


Qualifications

  •  Undergraduate degree in Management Information Systems, Information Security, Computer Science or Engineering; Master's degree is preferred but is not required
  • 4 or more years of experience preferably in the financial services industry
  • Payment Card industry experience is highly recommended
  • 1 or more years of experience in leading virtual project teams
  • 1 or more years of direct experience with Payment Card Industry (PCI) Compliance
  • Maintain at least one Information Security industry certification such as CISSP or CISM, or a PCI related certification such as PCI-ISA, PCI-QSA or PCIP
  • Ability to utilize core Microsoft Office tools on an angle and experienced basis including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Basic project management skills, ability to organize activities and manage tasks
  • Ability to work independently while supporting a highly diverse global organization
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to easily translate technology requirements into business-friendly discussion
  • Ability to work across business functions and organizations
  • Ability to prepare executive level briefings
  • Strong risk analysis and problem solving skills
  • General knowledge of domestic and international business, regulatory and compliance requirements impacting the financial services industry especially in the Payment Card business
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as a team member with minimal direction
