Payroll Project Manager
Team Summary
The Global Payroll project team will work directly with the regional payroll teams, vendors and internal HR/Benefits business partners to coordinate and manage local regional projects.  Projects could include and not limited to Changes to Policy/Process rollouts, Payroll system upgrades Mergers and Acquisitions.  We are looking for a creative and dedicated individual who will fit with our fast-paced, collaborative culture. What a Payroll Project Manager does at Visa:
  • Planning and implementation of Regional payroll projects
  • Partner with HRIT, to assist with defining project scope, goals and deliverables
  • Define project tasks for the local payroll teams and resource requirements
  • Develop full scale project plans as needed
  • Assemble and coordinate payroll project staff ensuring team readiness
  • Plan and schedule project timelines
  • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
  • Provide direction and support to project team
  • Coordinate and Perform quality assurance & payroll testing, with local payroll teams
  • Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
  • Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
  • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
  • Project evaluations and assessment of results

What you will need:
  • 5 years or more of functional payroll experience and/or oversight
  • Direct work experience implementing global payroll projects
  • Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
  • Proven experience in people management
  • Proven experience in strategic planning
  • Proven experience in change management
