General Description

• The candidate is expected to provide execution service for FX-related trades from 9 pm to 5 am.
• Providing platform support and contribute as FX specialist input for other bank projects and participate in driving improvement in efficiency of the FX execution business.
• Independent individual and problem solver as candidate may be required to cover certain time zones independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to FX team revenue target through execution of FX trades
• Execute all internal and external FX cash and derivative trades
• Provide advisory service to RMs and clients where required
• Usage of various counterparties' dealing tools, inhouse applications
• Knowledge of front to back booking flows
• Participate in driving improvement in efficiency of the FX execution business through the delivery of enhancements of current tools and potentially implementation of other tools.
• The candidate will also be expected to do odd-shift coverage when team member is on leave.
• Any other ad-hoc projects

Back-up function for Capital Market's multi-assets:

• In event of execution teams' coverage required, to carry out timely execution and advisory for multi-assets outside primary function (where Capital Market covers FX, Equity Cash, Bonds and Derivatives)

Requirements

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Fast and accurate dealing acumen
• Strong commercial acumen, focused on enhancing customer experience while staying focused delivering significant improvements in revenue, productivity and efficiency
• Have E-trading platform knowledge preferably gained in other established banks
• Have knowledge of FX or other trading business
• Ability to grasp details and identify process gaps to provide solutions
• Have knowledge on data analytics to drive targeted advisory and embark on learning our clients' trading journey with Bank of Singapore and outside of BOS
• Ability to work with different stakeholders to support projects
• Ability to code (eg, VBA, python) and familiarity with SQL is a preferred

Education Requirement

• Hold a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
• Preferably hold FMRP, CACS 1 & 2, RES12B (RES1B + RES2B) + CM-CMP (CM-SIP + CM-EIP)
