The incumbent will join the Managed Investments Advisory & Sales team and will play a key role in supporting the activities of the unit. The incumbent will be actively involved in reviewing legal and compliance activities pertaining to the sales and distributions of investment funds.

Description
• The hire will work with a senior member of the team on the following:
• Negotiation, review and finalisation of distribution agreements on behalf of the business units within the Managed Investments ("MI") department (including Mutual Funds, Hedge Funds, PE Funds)
• Ensure that the requirements arising from the distribution agreements are in place before distribution activities commence. These may include, but are not limited to:
• Putting a process in place to communicate and monitor appropriate selling processes and/or restrictions
• Active involvement in ensuring that product partners adhere to relevant FATCA and AML requirements
• Responsibility for adherence to due diligence/AML requirements by the Bank's product partners
• Providing guidance to the business units within the MI department on legal and regulatory related matters with respect to investment products and services offered by the department
• Conducting reviews and analysing the results of existing and proposed business and system processes
• Initiating and leading the implementation of controls to ensure adherence to applicable regulatory requirements and industry best practice
• Participating in compliance, audit assessments and other projects with internal/external parties
• Assist in other duties relevant to the activities of the Managed Investments Advisory & Sales team

Qualifications
Qualifications
• At least 8 years relevant experience
• Highly organized and detail / efficiency orientated
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Team player and an individual who is dynamic and engaging.
• Good commercial acumen
• Bachelor / University Degree or equivalent in Accounting, Economics or in Law
