We Offer
The Global Business Continuity Management team reports into the Chief Risk Officer and is part of Operational Risk Management.

As a Second Line of Defense (2LoD), the team provides oversight and challenge to all business areas to ensure they have viable recovery plans in place so that critical functions are continued following any major interruption across 4 defined Impact Types: Loss of Premises. Loss of IT, Loss of Staff and External Supplier.

The team is responsible for significant areas of focus with the business, in line with Regulatory expectations: Planning and Preparation; Risk Identification and Mitigation; Testing and Training; and Crisis Management.

Key Roles:

  • Provide oversight and drive the overall Planning and Analysis function across APAC, including India BDCs.
  • Ensure the P&A program is executed in compliance with Global policy, minimum standards and fully aligned to all regulatory guidelines and expectations.
  • Provide guidance and challenge to analysts and business areas.
  • Ensure all business areas have appropriate Business Continuity Management coverage from the Planning and Analysis team. Closely collaborate with India team head in ensuring overall deliverables are achieved.
  • Ensure controls are in place and followed as part of overall P&A lifecycle, including controls around Data Quality, Outsourcing, Transference, Reviews and testing
  • Manage program that ensures risks are identified, documented, appropriately mitigated or accepted by respective business heads.
  • Proactively manage on-going BoW.
  • Proactive collaboration with key stakeholders, partners and colleagues
  • BCM subject matter expert (SME).
  • Oversight of Business Continuity Management for Singapore, including face off to regulators and external forums; facilitate and maintain Crisis Management team activations and plans; Business Continuity Management representative at Singapore management committees and meetings.
  • Provide oversight and management of the Singapore DR Test program.
