10+ years enterprise solutions sales and business development exposure | Strong experience in Portfolio Management, Data Management, Risk & Compliance or related solutions (Must) | Cover BFSI market in APAC Region | Singapore or Hong Kong based

This Singapore based Sales Manager role, focus on generating new business across all of company Front-Office and Back-Office enterprise level software solutions and will be reporting to the Managing Director Asia. The incumbent will be responsible for leading regional sales operations and work closely with strong product/ presales team. In addition to sales, responsible for fostering customer satisfaction and improving employee engagement. Accountable for following company best practices, account/ territory planning and accurate forecasting. Participates in strategic and tactical planning at a regional level.

 

You will be involved in activities such as:

  • Direct sales to leading financial institutions and drive and grow company APAC revenues
  • Carry out market analysis and execute business development strategies
  • Manage the sales process based on a defined sales strategy for the prospect
  • Coordinate between the different stakeholders within the company to define the best strategy to winning business proposals (RFI/RFP)
  • Negotiate and finalize business proposals until successful signature and contract win
  • Update actions in company's CRM (SalesForce)
  • Proactively chasing business development for company product range of solutions, with an initial focus on reference, market and investment data management solutions
  • Follow up and develop new business within existing accounts

 

You will possess:

  • 7+ years of sales and business development experience, preferably in the BFSI market
  • Proven track record in business development and sales
  • Self-starter, startup approach, able to work independently while understanding the importance of effective cooperation with team members as well as stakeholders (preferred)
  • Prior experience selling Portfolio Management, Data Management, Asset Management, Risk Management or similar enterprise solutions (must)
  • Excellent presentation skills and extensive experience in client facing roles, making presentations to sophisticated, C-level individuals
  • Prefer candidates based in Singapore
