We are currently looking for Relationship Manager, Commercial Banking.

Job Purpose:

Generate new business for the Cash and Liabilities Team in Commercial Banking, SG by New Client Acquisition and Deepening the wallet share of existing clients, through cross sell of Cash Management, Financial Market and Trade Products (primarily exports).

The role entails the following:
  • Meet KPI targets as set by the Department on Portfolio Revenue Growth, Liabilities growth and New Client on-boarding.
  • Acquire new clients in the Cash / Non-Borrowing segment through targeting of companies within a targeted industry.
  • This would require discipline in making calls to prospective clients on a weekly basis as well as building up a network of referrals both internally and externally.
  • Deepen existing Cash Clients, by structuring solutions to meet their growing needs both domestically and internationally.
  • Work closely with Product Partners especially from Transaction Banking and Financial Markets to further grow the Bank's Interest and Fee Income.
  • Ensure Periodic Reviews and Transaction Monitoring Queries are executed and completed in a timely manner with all clients meeting the standards as set by AML procedures as applicable to Commercial banking.
  • Drive adoption of digital capabilities among clients via Straight2bank and utilize RM Workbench for analytics, call reports and account plans

Knowledge and Skills:
  • A degree and / or relevant professional qualifications / experience.
  • Preferably 5 years of relevant experience in serving business/commercial/corporate clients. Experience in servicing international businesses under the cross-border context is a plus
  • Excellent financial analysis skills and ability to assess client credit worthiness and key risk considerations / mitigations
  • Sound product knowledge on trade, cash, lending and FX and strong understanding of local industries, supply/value chains and market environment
  • Knowledge of operational procedures, documentation requirements, banking practices and regulations related to commercial banking
  • Firm in all business guidelines and compliance issues
  • Sound knowledge of financial markets and investment products
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
