Resource Management Professional

On behalf of a consulting firm, we are looking for a Resource Management professional who will be responsible for resource planning and management to meet business needs across locations.

Responsibility

  • Manage the utilisation and productivity of all consultants from multiple Consulting Offerings
  • Manage resource allocation - be able to drive the team in term sscheduling of staff on engagements, with a continued focus on engagement profitability and optimalclient service taking into consideration the skills & aspirations of our resources. Effective andefficient deployment of consultants onto local and international projects.
  • Work closely with Partners, Horizontal Leads, Project Leads to reesolve all resourcerequests in a timely & thorough manner while challenging the status quo
  • Resource Development - Understand the existing skill set and development of the resources, work with the leads of the business & the individuals to identify opportunities for them to upskill & grow
  • Ensure all open positions are filled with the most appropriate resource.
  • Capture all demand and log it in the Business Forecast on a regular basis
  • Advise Recruitment Manager of all positions that require external recruiting to be undertaken
  • Management Reporting including supply and demand forecast, utilisation reports etc.
  • Manage Contractor vs Permanent placements into projects
  • Ensure all contracts for contractors are renewed as required to meet project objectives and maintained on file.
  • Manage contractor invoicing by working closely with Finance / Accounts to ensure all contractor invoices are paid in a timely manner. Work with agencies to ensure their invoices are accurate

Requirements
  • 5+ years' resource deployment management or the equivalent
  • Knowledge of MS Office, Microsoft Outlook etc
  • Ability to prioritise, multi-task and meet deadlines with confidence
  • Assertive conflict resolution and problem solving skills
  • Building strong & trusted relationships with both internal clients and other employees
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to adapt communication. Strong
