Responsibilities

  • Define Open Banking and API partnership strategy and plans for the region to establish product, business development, marketing, and technology roadmaps
  • Engage stakeholders across DBS Group to develop sound, executable, market-specific partnership programs to support the Consumer Banking Group
  • Develop and deliver against agreed partnership KPIs and business cases together with in-market teams
  • Drive key external engagements alongside country and product teams to enable successful partnerships
  • Understand and assess partnership landscapes and opportunities across key markets and relevant ecosystems
  • Work with country and product stakeholders to define our regional and country API partnership strategy
  • Establish robust and proactive product, business development, marketing, and technology roadmaps to deliver against partnership strategy
  • Work with business and functional teams to translate partnership strategy into specific partnership programs, clear roadmaps, and actionable pipeline of opportunities
  • Define, deliver and review API partnership program success metrics together with in-market teams
  • Engage with ecosystem partners, government and regulatory agencies, fintech companies and developer communities to execute against plans and targets

Requirements

Functional experience
  • 8-12 years in top-tier consumer internet / PaaS / SaaS / enterprise software / financial services or related industries
  • Strong business leader with demonstrated success in sales, business development and/or partnership development, track record of delivering impactful results through partners
  • Impeccable business acumen, proven ability to commercialize partnership opportunities, excellent consultative selling skills
  • Experience in working cross-functionally and across regions and functions to drive partnership development, program success and KPIs
  • Highly adaptable, self-starter, ability to deal with ambiguity, thrives in fast-moving and high-growth environments, bias towards action
  • Strong communication skills, ability to speak tech and business when needed

Technical experience
  • Well-versed in API-driven and platform-based partnerships, business models, solution design and development, and partner integration
