We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Sales and Credit Support Manager .

Principal responsibilities

  • Support the Relationship Manager with the facility definition including structuring, term sheet preparation, security arrangement and covenants. Undertake the credit analysis and writing of credit remarks for renewals, both transactional and flow business, on behalf of the Relationship Manager. Review and interpret financial analysis, credit risk and balance sheet analysis. Prepare the renewal application with strategic input from the Relationship Manager .
  • Identify standard HSBC Facility Letter document requirements and liaise with respective departments for the preparation of facility letter. Obtain Relationship Manager agreement and client's signed documents, and initiate limit loading.
  • Monitor credit risk out of order queue and endorsements, concern lists, credit control reports. Analyze management information and perform covenant analysis and reporting
  • Assist Relationship Manager where required with risk assessment and monitor the risk portfolio rating and quality and provide ongoing risk monitoring, act as an escalation point for risk issue response.
  • Participate in the deals and discussions with clients alongside the Relationship Managers to gain as much experience of relationship management and the management of complex international credits
  • Adhere to and actively support established policies and procedures in own area or team
  • Ensure the consistent application of Group policy and adherence to regulatory, financial, and legal standards to minimise business and reputational risks

Requirements
  • Broad knowledge of the Bank's structures, products and services
  • Awareness of the changing economic, social and regulatory environment in Singapore
  • Knowledge of international business and various industry sectors
  • Experienced knowledge and use of Client Vision systems
  • Proven track record in a client focussed environment
  • Competent professional who maintains and develops professional knowledge to bring best practice ideas to the business
  • Experience of working in a teamwork environment
  • Considerable experience in the Commercial or Corporate Banking environment
  • Strong team skills promoting an environment of co-operation and trust, overcoming resistance where encountered
