Segments Portfolio Management Lead Vice President
The Vice President Portfolio Management for Segments is responsible for the deepening strategy, P/L performance and growth of all retail bank customers in Singapore, across the entire wealth continuum from Mass Banking, to Emerging Affluent, to Affluent and to High Net Worth.  In Citi, we name these segments Citibanking, Citi Priority, Citigold and Citigold Private Client and they cater to customers of different Assets under Management $1.5MM respectively.
The candidate will head the portfolio management in the country, by managing and executing business strategies to build franchise, be it revenue growth or reducing costs while meet customer needs
Key responsibilities include:
Driving Segment P/L from both revenues and expenses lines across both Assets and Wealth / Liabilities products to ensure the right P/L efficiency for each of the segments Driving Long term sustainable Growth of segments P/L by growing Net New Money, encouraging customers to consolidate share of wallet with Citi, ensuring right customers served in the right segment and broad-basing revenues
Specific examples include:
  • Strategising and implementing plans for the portfolio growth & customer stickiness by identifying new revenue opportunities and developing initiatives to drive volumes, maximize revenues opportunity for every client based on their needs
    • Revenue growth from increased product penetration and engagement
    • Net New Money Growth in the portfolios
    • Driving transactional / payments usage for sticky behavior
    • Reduced attrition / downgrades / AUM outflow
  • Driving growth in Affluent customers through upgrades, Net New Money growth, migrating customers to the right servicing model to optimize cost efficiency, formulating and ensuring a smooth upgrade and downgrade process for a greater customer experience
  • Creating and implementing a digital experience for Retail customers to drive product x sell and cost efficiency, in partnership with the e-Business team
  • Providing inputs in the SIPS strategy of the frontliners & Branch Management team to drive segment KPIs
  • Focus on Low Revenue Customers, to minimize the loss by migrating to low cost of servicing, upsell/cross sell and if all fails, aggressively attrite the customers from the base
  • Develop and implement programs to increase customer engagement and satisfaction across rewards, recognition and events
  • Increase rNPS score through customer satisfaction via relevant product offerings, efficient servicing channel and client recognition
  • Partner stakeholders in ensuring accuracy and consistency in Segments P/L, ensure fair expense allocation
  • Within Segment programs, drive process improvements, optimize platform for front-liner enquiries, key partner and knowledge to DM, Fin Con, Controls, Systems & Ops teams
