Risk Management Group (RMG) is responsible for the development and maintenance of risk management and internal control frameworks. We provide independent review and challenge to business to ensure that appropriate balance is considered in risk/return decisions. In addition, RMG is responsible for the monitoring and reporting on key risk issues of the Bank. To manage risk effectively and deliver strong financial performance, we invest significantly in our people and infrastructure.

To assist the Chief Operating Officer (COO) in managing all the operational aspects of Risk Management Group (RMG) working closely with the RMG heads and their COO (or equivalent).

RMG works closely with our business partners to manage the bank's risk exposure by balancing its objective to maximise returns against an acceptable risk profile. We partner with origination teams to provide financing, investments and hedging opportunities to our customers.


  • Provide secretariat support to the Risk Executive Committee (Exco) and RMG meetings
  • Work closely with RMG units in the preparation of updates such as internal business reviews, regulator's meetings, business continuity planning, training etc
  • Support matters relating to Recovery and Resolution Planning (RRP)
  • Undertake ad-hoc initiatives and assignments in support of CRO or COO


  • Min 4-6 years of experience in financial institutions with exposures to middle office and risk functions
  • University degree or equivalent, with major study in Finance, Economics or Business Administration preferred
  • Self-starter
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong presentation and inter-personal skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Good project management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Passionate and resourceful with a mindset of learning and adapting
  • Good knowledge of banking activities and operations
  • Basic understanding of various processes within risk management
  • Strong analytical mind and ability to identify issues and achieve timely resolution
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Professionalism in dealing with internal as well as external parties
