Senior Software Engineer (C++, eTrading)

Our client is an established eTrading firm. They are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join their Core Engineering team to design, build and optimize their in-house trading systems. The ideal candidate is someone with relevant domain knowledge and solid development fundamentals with C++ and high frequency, low latency trading systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and implement high-frequency trading platforms, collecting quotes and trades from to disseminating orders across exchanges around the world.
• Optimizing platform using network and systems programming, minimizing latency.
• Build systems that provide easy access to historical market data and trading simulations.
• Create tools to for data analysis, risk management and performance tracking

Requirements

• Bachelors of Computer Science or equivalent with at least 5years of relevant domain experience.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming in C++ is mandatory.
• Strong communication skills with ability to cope with a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of Linux and skillsets in any other development language, including Java, Python, or Perl and shell scripts is a plus.
