Senior Technology Architect

  • Provide leadership and technology vision for architecture direction across the IT ecosystem architecture, including digital banking architecture, to effectively support the short and long-term strategic roadmap that address current and emerging market demands
  • Foster innovation and use technology capabilities to deliver business and IT value. Translate vision and ideas into solution architecture and technical design
  • Recommend future technology capabilities and the overall digital enterprise architect business strategy and processes and translating business strategy and processes into actionable digital IT Systems strategy supported by well-defined future state capabilities and transition plans
  • Define and evolve future-state domain architectures that are both strategic and responsive to the constantly changing needs of the business, that reconcile the conflicting concerns of stakeholders and that achieve the right balance between IT efficiency and business innovation
  • Provide analysis on gaps arise from "As-is" and Target Architecture and make appropriate proposal to address the gaps aligning with stakeholders' expectation
  • Provide impacts analysis to the bank of major regulations (e.g. TRM) from key jurisdictions, covering key areas like gap analysis, IT roadmap to close the gaps, high-level cost estimate
  • Work with stakeholders and subject matter experts to build a holistic map or view of the organization's strategy, processes, information, and information technology assets
  • Develop Architecture standards/guidelines/policies based on the bank's needs, regulatory requirements and anticipated technology advances to guide Solutioning and project teams
  • Work closely with Solutioning, Infrastructure and project teams to understand their needs and ensure the best Enterprise Architecture standard is implemented
  • Perform benchmarking on selected Technology areas, as necessary
  • Govern and maintain bank-wide architectural standards
  • Continually develop as a Digital Enterprise Architecture expert, always aware of enterprise and/or domain-relevant industry trends and emerging technologies and continuously evaluating their potential impact on the enterprise
  • Provide leadership, technology guidance and mentors others throughout their domain
  • Lead the development and execution of a communication and education plan for the IT Ecosystem architecture
  • Define the skills, competencies in the skills and talents for architecture team members, and Responsible for the overall training and development of the architect family staff
  • Conduct effective management responsibilities including taking corrective action when necessary and ensure that all activities are performed in compliance with the Bank's policies, standards, and procedures
  • Share best practices across teams


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or related IT discipline
  • Recognized industry's certification (e.g. CISSP, TOGAF, CISA) related to functional area is an advantage
  • Strong leadership attributes and proven track record in strategic thinking and driving change
  • Expertise in Digital architecture at the enterprise level
  • Experience building enterprise architecture roadmaps
  • Posses hands on experience and able to design, implement and support technology solutions in the web, cloud and mobile architecture practices
  • Vast work experience in Enterprise Architectural work, e.g. leading > 10 successful major implementations, 10+ years
  • Solid working knowledge in the following areas: Web application development, web services and common web-based data interchange mechanism, Service-Oriented Architecture technologies and Micro-services, Big Data, Cloud Computing and Internet of Things
  • Experience developing the end-to-end solution for specific banking domains with strong senior stakeholder communication skill
  • Experience in managing vendor solutions and services
  • Good knowledge of technology and business trends in financial industry
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interface and influence at all levels in the organization and able to communicate complex technical issues in a way that varying IT and Business teams may understand
  • Able to drive results through different teams across different geographical locations
