About our client

Our client is a prestigious international business group. This role sits within their Singapore team, and involves providing trade, middle and back-office support to an investment fund/trading platform. You will have the opportunity to work across their global offices. What the job involves

• Provide trade support to Head of Trading, ensuring smooth settlement of trades with brokers and custodians
• Deliver accurate and timely portfolio management reporting for the Capital team, including quarterly financials and P&L reporting on positions
• Manage daily cash, trade, and FX management, settlement and reconciliations. Own every transaction
• Support the preparation of monthly accounts, financial statements, and assist with the coordination of audits
• Handle tax compliance, filings, and management fee allocations across jurisdictions
• Support KYC and onboarding of brokers, custodians, and other counterparties
• Perform other finance and operational tasks, as required

Who we are looking for

• Considerable years of experience in settlements, finance operations, or fund accounting within reputable global financial services firms based in Singapore
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a related field
• Familiarity with both public markets and private markets
• Strong knowledge of the trade lifecycle and solid understanding of settlement cycles
• Good knowledge of accounting principles, financial and P&L reporting, and tax regulations. Hands-on experience preparing management accounts, financial statements, and coordinating audits
• Practical experience working with custodians, brokers, and fund administrators
