Your team
You'll be working in the Global Markets legal team. We're responsible for advising our Global Markets colleagues on legal and regulatory matters related to the products, transactions and arrangements they offer our customers. So you could be covering equities or fixed income products in multiple locations in the region. We also work closely with our colleagues around the globe to make sure the advice and solutions we give to our businesses are consistent with and adhere to internal policies and applicable laws and regulations.

Your expertise
• worked in a similar position before, whether in private practice and/or in-house
• qualified as a lawyer in Singapore, Hong Kong or other common law jurisdictions with a minimum of 8 years post qualification experience
• excellent product knowledge across multiple asset classes
• experience in financial services regulatory framework in Singapore or Hong Kong
• experience working with senior leadership personnel on commercially sensitive matters
• fluent in English. Ability to read and write Chinese is desirable
• able to handle pressure and used to working to challenging deadlines
• an expert at building networks and connections
• comfortable working in a dynamic and varied legal environment
