To support major implementation projects, core developments and support of South East Asian based business. Liaise with team members in support and development teams locally and off-shore across various time-zones.
Main Role and Responsibilities
Product: Technical / Business Support
Primary role of managing BA, Technical/Functional and related documentations, implementation and support for MultiAsset Post Trade solution. Secondary role of assisting technical team on other Broadridge solutions such as
Provide 1st level business and technical support to clients on Broadridge’s Post Trade solution;
Provide as a liaising point on issues escalation with overseas teams for issue resolution;
Ensure all development / support issues are recorded in issue tracking system as per Broadridge’s support and
Apply / test patches received from teams, reviewing (code / test plan etc.);
Perform application reviews / test plan reviews of other team’s work (local or off-shore);
Work closely with Project Managers on assigned projects and keep the relevant project stakeholders updated
on the progress.
Product Enhancement: Specification, Development and Testing
Using knowledge and experience gained on the job, develop enhancements to existing systems as requested by the
Interpret business requirements of the clients, create build proposals / estimates.
Thoroughly document the requirement in Functional Specifications or Technical Specifications as appropriate.
Support the client in UAT / system testing and iron-out any issues before go-live.
Develop and maintain a professional working relationship with clients.
Operations Manager (or delegated Project Manager) - Work closely on development and support tasks to ensure all
deliverables are provided on schedule to the clients.
Tech Team Members - Work with other technical staff to provide excellent level of service to the client.
Clients - Build relationships with the clients to aide in the support of existing and delivery of new systems.
Recommended Experience & Competencies
Good practical experience of a Post Trade/Back Office solution in terms implementations / major
Strong technical and business knowledge across the whole system
Strong understanding of at least 2 programming languages (either Java & SQL or C & SQL)
Strong understanding of Linux/UNIX environment
Analysis - Can analyse requirements from clients. (e.g. enhancement requests, issues raised).
Functional Specification - Ability to write functional specifications. Able to write functional specifications with
effective re-use of existing functionality and clear explanation of function purpose, features and limitations.
Technical Specifications - Can write advanced technical specifications for technology solutions.
Programming - Ability to program modules from functional / technical specifications from agreed functional
specifications by clients.
Testing - Able to draw-up test plans, execute test schedules and thoroughly document in order to ensure that
the system meets required standards prior to delivery to the client. Can run major test packs with other team
Business Knowledge - Familiar with financial instruments such as securities, derivatives and fixed income
Ability to work across multiple clients and projects simultaneously;
Be the key escalation point from the client for technical matters;
Provide technical direction to the local and off-shore teams on how to solve issues;
Excellent communication, both written & spoken (English);
Organized and methodical approach;
Ability to work with clients and present a professional image of Broadridge;
Proven ability to work with people of varying backgrounds, technical and business and various levels of seniority.
