Team Head, Servicing/Reporting and Projects (Director)

  • Manages the credit facility limits static data based on Credit approval messages.
  • Manages the non-cash/ marketable securities collateral loading into the system, eg property values, insurance cash surrender values and SBLCs
  • Manages the input/update of credit conditions for purpose of monitoring/follow up
  • Manages the custody of credit files
  • Liaise with external parties for credit related activities such as property valuers and insurance brokers
  • Manages all reporting required to be handled by Credit Services and to see to improvement through system automation in reports generation
  • Projects/Processes (both in technology pertaining to systems and/or processes)
    • Active participation and oversee in bankwide projects/processes changes in which Credit Services is involved
    • Lead Credit Services initiated projects/processes changes.
  • In overseeing the all projects of Credit Services :
    • to ensure journals are recorded throughout and post the projects
    • to see to synergy across all Operations functions


Qualifications
  • Preferably graduate degree in banking/finance but not absolutely necessary provided the candidate has the relevant experience.
  • Candidate should preferably have 8 to 10 years' experience in credit administration and/or servicing in a bank. If the candidate has worked in a private bank before in a similar area, this will be a significant advantage because private banks functions differently from an investment or commercial bank.
  • Experience in handling projects in Operations function is a pre-requisite. Ability to produce reports is a required skill
  • So candidate should have good working knowledge of the Microsoft applications and other PC applications. A candidate who possesses numerical skill will have an advantage.
  • A good team player is very important.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Technically sound with Microsoft Office applications especially Microsoft Excel/Word/Powerpoint
  • Important to liaise with other functions; marketing, products, risk, legal, compliance, etc.
  • Directly with clients where necessary, coordinates with other function lines to contract external parties (attorneys, valuers, etc)
