Trade Finance Analyst - European Corporate Bank

A leading European corporate bank is looking for a trade finance analyst with trade finance and KYC experience to support their trade flow transactions

Responsibilities:

• Co-ordinating with the potential suppliers on the commercial and KYC Documentation for onboarding
• Handle suppliers' queries regarding onboarding / transactions etc
• Track and manage escalations from suppliers for any queries sent by them to the Delivery Hub team
• Engage with the buyer in case of any queries with regards to suppliers on the program
• Discussion with Business Partners on supply chain financing related matter (Product, Operations, CRM, Legal, Compliance etc)
• Ensure the compliance of Internal & Regulatory Risk and Control Guidelines
• Drive continuous improvement activities for area of accountability leading to client experience and operational efficiencies'
• Monitor the service quality, productivity and turnaround time according to the agreed SLA with Delivery Hub India and customers
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports if any to Finance, Compliance and Regulators
• Participate in the projects and initiatives implemented by Relationship & Transactions Management
• Incident management through proper escalation

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration or related disciplines
• Minimum 3 years of solid experience in Trade Finance arena
• Candidate with experience to conduct KYC for the suppliers under supply chain finance product is highly preferred

• Business oriented, enterprising and inquisitive
• Team player and willing to share knowledge
• Good interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain a good professional relationship with external and internal contacts
• Ability to prioritize and work effectively under time pressure
• Strong ownership of tasks assigned, able to multi-task and to work independently
• Proficiency in PC skills, such as Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing
• Good communication of skills, fluent in English and Cantonese, Mandarin
• Immediately available is highly preferred
