Trade Finance Programme Manager (AVP), Emerging Business, Global Commercial Banking
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Overall management of the Trade Finance product program to support small and medium enterprises with their working capital requirements
  • Drive the growth of Trade Finance customer acquisition and limits utilisation with prudent risk management of the portfolio
Job Scope
  • Manage end-to-end Trade Finance product program, which includes EFS Trade and Commercial Trade, covering product development and value proposition, program parameters, STP and non-STP processes and portfolio management
  • Drive the digital transformation of Trade Finance for SME segment such as electronic banker's guarantee, online application of Trade facility
  • Constantly review, innovate and enhance product features to ensure competitiveness and relevance of products for target segments
  • Conduct regular review of STP and non-STP processes to enhance customer experience, improve efficiency and ensure compliance with regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders such as Sales, Credit Risk, Global Trade Finance, Business Analytics, Operations & Technology, Legal & Compliance on product initiatives
  • Develop and roll out tactical campaigns to increase volume and revenue
  • Manage on-demand projects and perform system user acceptance tests when required

Qualifications
Requirements
  • Tertiary education with minimum 7 years of working experience, preferably in SME Banking, Product Management and/or Trade Finance
  • A strong communicator with good presentation and business papers writing skills
  • A structured thinker who is proficient in data analysis and insights development
  • A self-motivator with proven ability to multi-task and work independently
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to conceptualise and execute strategic product initiatives
