Our client, a leading global financial institution, is looking for a VP to join the Middle Office function supporting its Securitized Products & Private Credit businesses. This is a high-growth area, underpinned by an innovative product range, an experienced team and a strong market franchise, operating within a rapidly expanding segment of the market.

The team works closely with Origination and Trading desks, providing support across the full pre- and post-trade lifecycle to ensure risk is captured accurately in the firm's books and records. The successful candidate will act as the key link between the Trading Desk and other stakeholders, identifying and remediating control risks, upholding strong governance, and driving strategic change initiatives.

This role would suit Middle Office professionals from a Loans background, as well as those from Credit or Fixed Income Middle Office who bring structured products experience

This role will be responsible for the following:

1. Oversee end-to-end lifecycle events and controls, ensuring transactions are processed accurately and on time
2. Monitor portfolio activity, pipeline and volumes to assess operational capacity requirements
3. Validate deal documentation and ensure correct system/product set-up to capture risk accurately, providing trade support across related products including vanilla bonds, equities, derivatives and credit insurance
4. Maintain robust operational controls and lead root cause analysis to strengthen controls, productivity and audit readiness
5. Act as the key operational point of contact for Front Office and regional stakeholders, driving engagement on new deal origination, product launches and complex transactions
6. Drive automation and process improvement initiatives, using data and best practice to enhance productivity and controls

To be eligible for this role you will require:

1. Significant experience (c.10 years) in a Middle Office role within Loans, Credit, or Fixed Income, ideally with exposure to structured products
2. Familiarity with LMA/APLMA-standard trade documentation, or equivalent structured products documentation from a Credit/Fixed Income background
3. Experience with Loan IQ or similar trade/loan processing systems is an advantage, though not essential for candidates from an adjacent asset class
4. Broad working knowledge of other Global Markets products and front-to-back trade flows, including risk and P&L
5. Proven track record managing complex transactions, resolving exceptions, and operating within a strong risk and control framework
