Reports into Head of Global Trade Finance - Product Management

Roles & Responsibilities
- The key responsibility is to drive regional product development of trade finance products and solutions and to create new value chain trade flows from the region.

- Provide expertise and support to Trade Sales and Relationship Managers in the driving and execution of complex trade transactions, cross border trade flows in OCBC's markets and network, covering both Documentary Trade and Open Account flows.

- Work with the countries to determine the strategic priorities for regional growth in Trade Finance

- Provide trade advisory and product specialist support to the countries in OCBC's network.

- Identify cross border flows by working with GFI to enhance our collaboration with FIs, driving trade flows for documentary trade, banker's guarantee and open account


  • Minimum 15+ years of Transaction Banking - Trade Finance experience as senior trade product or sales capacity
  • Minimum 10+ years proven experience in product management and structuring solution in trade
  • Regional sales or product experience and exposure required
  • Possess strong inter-personal and communication skills to manage clients and internal stakeholders
  • Demonstrated skills in execution, problem solving and developing customer solutions
  • Results oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Independent self-starter and willing to share knowledge and expertise
