Responsibilities
  • Learning consultancy with the business on various learning needs using the CADDIE process
  • Work with a dedicated team of Learning Designers to design & develop strategic learning interventions for various BU/SU in DBS, with focus on programmes for mid-senior executive and talent programmes
  • Design and develop various learning content
  • This is a single contributor role
Requirements
  • Minimum Degree in any relevant field (HR, Psychology, Instructional Design, Media, Journalism, etc)
  • More than 5 years of the following relevant experience: learning design & development; talent management;
    consultancy; OD
  • Must Haves:
    • Extensive hands-on instructional design experience
    • Experienced in the design & development of some of the following learning content / programmes:
      • eLearning, digital and micro-learning assets
      • Digital and data training programmes
      • Softskills, managerial and leadership programmes
      • Talent development programmes
      • Business training programmes (Consumer Banking, Institutional Banking, Risk, Technology, etc)
      • Case studies
    • Excellent consultation and stakeholder management skills
    • Strong project management skills
    • Skilled in basic media creation & editing (graphics, video, etc)
    • Resourceful, able to multi-task, delivers under pressure and in ambiguous environments
    • Comfortable in matrixed environment, with ability to create synergy with various stakeholders
    • Strong sense of ownership and initiative
    • Creative and willing to explore innovative ways of working
    • Customer-centric, with good communication and interpersonal skills
    • Self-directed learner
Good-to-haves:
    • Ability to work on learning content that is highly technical in nature
    • Familiar with the use of Articulate Rise
    • Expert in the use and deployment of learning systems / technologies (LMS, LXP, etc)
    • Experienced in delivering and facilitating training
    • Familiarity with agile, journeys and design thinking
    • Familiar with banking industry
    • Possesses good cultural, business and digital acumen
    • Technologically savvy

  • Candidates with strong technical banking background (Consumer Banking, Institutional Banking, Risk, Credit, Technology), with strong writing capabilities
  • Candidates with teaching, media or journalistic backgrounds, with strong writing and media creation capabilities
