Responsibilities

  • M anage and evolve SCM Strategy – working with stakeholder groups and steering committee to manage and evolve the SCM Strategy and vision, define objectives and drive progress for SCM outcomes, identification of relevant measures, coordination of the annual planning processes for SCM
  • Deliver Portfolio outcomes and Manage SCM / Structural Change Programs,lead analysis / assist stakeholders in the delivery of SCM targets, develop Steering Committee dashboards and lead content creation, Provide program management capability for structural change initiatives as and when they are identified
  • Lead stakeholder engagement for select BU/SU areas, lead engagement with stakeholders to identify opportunities / analyse results, drive SCM outcomes including target setting and planning of delivery, lead / participate in BU/SU/Enterprise wide initiatives either as an SME or where consulting / analytic support is required
  • Drive analytics in select areas, lead diagnostics including hypotheses generation, data collection, model development and analysis across own and virtual teams in prioritised areas, research papers on best practices in the industry, executive office reporting on goals / financials and business updates as required and preparation of materials for strategic discussions on SCM
  • Build SCM toolkits and frameworks, assist with business model improvement, partnering with Business and Support unit stakeholders to identify opportunities, develop / introduce relevant frameworks to identify opportunities and track benefits, synthesis of external research with internal perspectives / business strategy for best practice sharing including convening workshops / sharing sessions to enhance knowledge
  • Drive cultural change and communications – establish communications program for SCM leveraging existing DBS channels








Requirements

  • The candidate should ideally have more than 10 years of multi-disciplinary experience in Strategy / Consulting for Banking and Financial Services - understands the Financial Services and Banking cost landscape / din depth
  • P roven ability to influence at a Senior level without direct authority
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong business and commercial acumen
  • Deep experience in business transformation and organisational improvement, re-engineering program and project management including benefit delivery and tracking, diagnostic analysis – qualitative and quantitative
  • Ability to resolve issues and negotiate outcomes between stakeholders
