VP / AVP, Programme Lead - Genesys, Technology Services, Technology and Operations
Business Function

Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Genesys is a 2 year program, focuses on enabling transparency of work, financial and people capacity for empowered decision making. We have 6,000+ technical people assets in DBS, this is a pool of over $600m investment for our leverage. We are looking for a Project Manager to be responsible for providing functional expertise in the implementation on resource tracking, budget allocation and ensure continuous planning to support the DBS's strategic direction, as well as creating and managing long term goals.

Responsibilities
  • Be able to articulate, market the vision for Genesys T&O.
  • Lead a team of resources to implement Genesys for tech resourcing.
  • Ensure that Genesys is executed on schedule and within budget.
  • Ability to work independently to gather requirements, prepare project plan, communicate to stakeholders and form a project team to achieve the desired outcome(s)
  • Ensures that the implementation is done in a consistent and standardised fashion across all locations
  • End-to-end management of T&O Genesys from the initialization phase (business case) to the preparation stage (communicate, setup team, define scope) to the execution phase (status update, tracking and implementation)
  • Provides leadership to the members of the team and train them to equip them with the necessary skills to perform their roles
  • Coordinates with the various tech teams to ensure that issues and development affecting operations are managed and tracked holistically
  • Provides regular score-cards and status update to various stakeholders
  • Lead the team to identify and confirm system requirements from operational perspective
  • Work with country tech teams effective alignment and outcomes.
Requirements

Non-technical Experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in teams
  • Able to manage multiple tasks readily, effectively and within the tight deadlines
  • Displays strong initiative, drive and can-do mindset
  • Ability to plan, organize and solve problems.
  • Meticulous and detailed but able to summarise and present issues for senior management level
Technical Experience
  • Knowledge on general banking products and processes
  • Knowledge on general banking products and processes
  • Knowledge in Tech process, allocations, budgeting
  • Excellent Excel and Powerpoint skills
  • Ideally, been involved in a banking application, either as user or as a system analyst
  • Degree holder with at least 10 years of experience
