Vice President, Access Control & Monitoring Team Lead

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement the department's IT Governance, Compliance and Risk Management framework, policies/standard and improvement roadmap.
  • Support the control for managing department's investment and expense budget in accordance with the department's Mid Term Plan and the approved term and project budgets for access control and security monitoring activities.
  • Work in partnership with various departments to support the implementation of global, regional and local projects, providing advisory for user and privilege IDs access control.
  • Work in partnership with head office, regional offices, branches and vendors to enhance regional policies & frameworks and drive technology access control initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain a robust and compliant user and privileges access control framework for the region.
  • Manage the team and ensure daily operations resiliency of the security officers' function on security surveillance application user and privileges access log monitoring, access control & review attestation function.
  • Manage, develop and maintain application user and privileges access control matrix (UAM) and applications forms.
  • Subject matter expert on defining user and privileges access management Access Control and Security Monitoring
  • Perform impact analysis on IT access control to support any re-structuring changes in the Branch.
  • Perform security assessment reviews on new systems and enhancements to ensure relevant security controls, relating to access control and audit trails are in place.
  • Develop recommendations for continuous improvement and support implementation.
  • Manage regional Identity Access Management (IAMS) implementation / enhancement for branch improvement initiative across region
  • Manage the implementation of privilege access management and governance enhancement for branch improvement initiative
  • Collaborate with other teams to eliminate security threat / resolve security incident detected.
  • Stay abreast of the industry information security trends, security threat environment, risk trends, technology developments and relevant laws and regulations

Requirements
  • Desirable to have at least 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Security product certification in access control domains highly preferable.
  • Professional certification is preferable (e.g. CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CISM).
  • Detailed understanding of all technical access control domains, especially in areas of Privileged User ID management and access control and activity monitoring.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills to collaborate with regional offices and branch offices.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to influence heads of department, technical managers and other key stakeholders.
  • Strong working knowledge of industry trends, products and technology.
  • Good understanding of banking products and services.
