Vice President, Energy Finance & Advisory - Corporate and Investment Banking Singapore

Mission:
  • Financing and advisory mandates for corporate clients in the Asia Pacific region, related to their financing needs and specific development projects, as well as other related products such as rates hedging etc
  • Enlarge and diversify current loan portfolio of NRG team in Asia, closing specific financing transactions and thereby increasing market share, widening client base and developing the NRG franchise in the region
  • Identify and originate business opportunities, both with new and existing clients in the region
  • Build and develop close stakeholder relationships both internally and externally
  • Direct and measurable contribution to meeting department budget targets, managing costs and maintaining profitability
  • Cooperation with other teams with SG in Asia but also globally, notably Coverage/Relationship Managers, Syndication, Credit, Legal, Compliance etc)
  • Educate, train, support and manage junior members of the team
  • Ensure the activity is performed responsibly and appropriately, in compliance with internal guidelines as mentioned above


Profile Required

Academic Background And Certifications, Experience
  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Science, Statistics, Engineering or related topics
  • Strong execution skills in a relevant financing discipline
  • Experience in major project financings for oil and gas, petrochemicals, power projects, renewables will be ideal, along with the ability to demonstrate technical knowledge in this sector
  • Track record in closing relevant financing transactions in a corporate setting or for a major bank/financial institution
  • Strong communication skills
  • Pro-active, results-driven and client-focused, with strong ethics such as integrity and transparency and strong risk awareness
  • Knowledge required in economics and financial markets
