Position Description

The role is part of the GTO (Global Technology and Operations) Third Party Management team in APAC supporting diverse third party relationships, vendor services engagement that provide products and services to the GTO line of businesses. The Enterprise Vendor Manager will manage combination of Enterprise Critical, High Risk and strategic low risk vendors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communication with third party providers/vendors to ensure their services aligned to Bank's Third Party Program policies and requirement.
  • Executes Third Party/Vendor Management program deliverables, ensuring the necessary documentation is completed and implemented.
  • Understanding of risk profile of Third Party service providers/Vendors.
  • Develop business partner relationships internally with Process Owners, Compliance, Risk partners, Sourcing, GIS (Global Information System) and relevant stakeholders as well as external vendor contacts.
  • Manages Third Party service provider/vendor performance and mitigates risk for assigned portfolio that may vary in risk and complexity.
  • Influences peers and senior management within the line of business to take action on complex, technical or sensitive topics.
  • Completion of vendor deliverables, vendor assessments, vendor performance scorecards, contract administration, issue management and reporting per program requirement.
  • Proactively identifies issues and emerging risks and take swift action to resolve or escalate as appropriate.
  • Supports relevant governance routines to report on Third Party service levels, risk status, and program management as needed, to support business decisions such as external procurement strategy and rationalization of Third Parties.
  • Participates in miscellaneous projects as needs arise (process improvements, internal audits, and regulatory support).

Key Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or related discipline.
  • 2 years + relevant Third Party management/Third Party Risk management experience.
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong communication skills (including verbal, written, presentation and active listening).
  • Strong time management skills and adaptability, able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and delivery of a high quality work product.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment, independently and develop relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Prioritizes workload, special tasks and concurrent projects, allocating time and resources to ensure work deliverable is completed accurately and efficiently within time bound.
  • Ability to navigate in a complex organization and operate effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office operating products including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and OneNote.

Desired Skills
  • Sourcing/Procurement experience a plus.
  • Industry certified accreditation (e.g. CISSP, CISA) a plus
