Accounting & External Reporting Junior Specialist (Start date: September 2020)
Job-Fakten

We offer an exciting opportunity for a recent university graduate who is looking for a career in finance. Our Accounting Professional Programme in Group Accounting & External Reporting team gives an ideal entry point for graduates aiming to gain experience in the finance department of a global company, while working towards an internationally recognised accounting qualification (ACCA).

You will be part of the team that prepares the Roche Group's financial statements, along with providing accounting and reporting support for local affiliates, financial training and the testing of internal controls at major affiliates. The programme provides the opportunity, subject to availability and your performance, for a 3 month secondment into the Finance organisation at one of our international affiliates.

You will prepare for the UK-based ACCA qualification, with course fees and incidental costs covered by Roche. The course will take approximately 3 years to complete, depending upon any exemptions you have from your previous studies and your success at passing the ACCA exams. The programme has 14 modules, and you will typically be taking 2-3 modules each six months.

The combination of an accounting qualification and development on the job gives you the opportunity to start an international career in finance, in a global company. Upon completion of the programme, you will either remain a member of the Accounting & External Reporting team, or we will look to position you elsewhere in the Roche Finance organisation.
