What it's about
The Temporary Data Protection Lawyer will be member of the Corporate Legal team acting as specialist data protection lawyer, advising on complex privacy matters for a period of seven months

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of proposals for Partners Group's approach to ensure global compliance with data protection legislation
  • Establishment and maintenance of general policies, tools and templates regarding data protection
  • Overall coordination of data protection activities within Partners Group, including the coordination of processing activities across different regions and countries
  • Advising on data protection matters, including data protection impact assessments, using a risk-based approach
  • Acting as point of contact and responding to data subject requests
  • Cooperate with supervisory authorities and acting as point of contact for them
  • Manage data protection aspects of data breaches relating to headquarter functions or with a group-wide impact
  • Organizing and holding trainings of key users within the Group
  • Reporting to Head Corporate Legal and other relevant group bodies and committees

What we expect
  • University degree in law; admitted to the bar
  • A sound legal background with at least three years professional experience working as a lawyer, with an in-depth knowledge and experience of data protection laws in the EU or Switzerland (knowledge of GDPR is highly beneficial)
  • Strong interpersonal, multi-tasking and time management skills which enables you to establish and maintain effective client relationships and trust
  • Excellent legal and analytical skills and exercise of judgment with high ethical and control standards
  • Excellent communication skills capable of dealing with a wide range of internal stakeholders, including senior management
  • Experience working in an international, multi-cultural and dynamic environment which will enable you to contribute to the team's success
