What it's about
Partners Group's structuring team is responsible for developing suitable investment structures for institutional and private investors globally. Structuring professionals regularly interact with the firm's client relationship management, investment and operational teams as well as with clients and external professionals. The development, negotiation and implementation of customized client mandates (i.e. separate accounts) is an essential part of the structuring team. In this context, we are looking for a dedicated mandate manager responsible for the lifecycle management of all separate accounts and mandate structures across the globe.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage the onboarding process of mandates and separate accounts in close collaboration with the lead structuring professional and operational teams
• Serve as the main point of contact with respect to mandate-specific obligations (reporting, accounting, portfolio management, etc.)
• Participate in internal and external mandate onboarding discussions
• Oversee processes and procedures to ensure seamless operational implementation of mandates
• Lead projects to support service catalogue development and team growth
• Support mandate negotiations with clients and their advisors
• Research key considerations relevant to specific clients, products and jurisdictions

What we expect

Qualified professional with 3-5 years of relevant work experience

• Top academic credentials in business administration, finance, economics and engineering; background in law is a plus
• Self-motivated and proactive individual with strong desire to learn and succeed
• Strong analytical and project management skills and ability to drive processes at the same time
• Deep knowledge of the financial services industry, experience in private markets is a plus
• Ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external parties
• Fluent in German and English, any additional languages are a plus
