Service Desk Agent

On behalf of our client, a company in the financial industry, Swisslinx are looking for a Service Desk Agent for a permanent opportunity in Zug.

As the ideal candidate you will possess the following skills and experience:
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role
- Education in Information Technology
- Excellent customer service skills
- Very good troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Excellent Windows and MS Office knowledge
- Proven experience with application troubleshooting solutions
- Solid experience with a wide range of applications
- Fluent English and at least conversational German

As the successful candidate, your tasks will include, but will not be limited to:
- Providing 2nd and 3rd level support
- Monitoring and reviewing computer patch level and software installation
- Creating and updating user manuals, maintaining and updating processes and documentation
- Upholding and enforcing internal processes and policies
- Maintaining hardware and software configuration according to defined standards and requirements
- Completing reports and reviews
- Assisting with user acceptance testing
- Monitoring backup jobs and managing backup tapes
- Assisting with hardware evaluation and assisting with software testing and user acceptance testing
- Managing contracts and relationships for smart phones, access system, guarding series and printers
- Handling requests and Service Desk coverage
