Our client, a top tier global bank based in Zurich, is looking for a Senior Business Analyst with extensive experience in Credit Risk and Change Management topics in Private Banking. The professional will join a team responsible for delivering a new credit risk reporting platform for PB, which is part of their global BCBS 239 program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acting as a Senior Credit Risk Business Analyst / SME within a strategic platform team focused on the delivery of strategic data sourcing, reporting, analysis solutions
  • Eliciting, analysing and documenting business requirements
  • Conducting gap analysis, defining business solutions; creating user stories, requirements and functional specifications, user training documentation, data mapping
  • Working closely with business and IT teams to ensure delivery of the requirements
  • Ensuring priorities are successfully met by the relevant business stakeholders
  • Resolving ongoing regulatory outcomes on business requirements in a timely manner
  • Coaching other Business Analysts on the development of functional requirements
  • Providing status reports
  • Overseeing UAT activities

 

Ideal Profile:

  • 7-10 years of Business Analysis experience in the financial sector
  • Experience in Private Banking (PB) is a must
  • Strong experience in Credit Risk including background in projects focused on credit risk system implementations
  • Excellent knowledge of risk functions in Private Banking and Investment Banking, as well as of processes, regulatory requirements, calculations, front-to-back systems, data, etc.
  • Experience in BCBS 239 and other relevant Regulatory programs would be an advantage
  • Very good Data Analysis skills would be a plus
  • Advanced SQL skills would be a must
  • Comfortable working with stakeholders spread in various locations
  • Excellent ability to engage with senior stakeholders
  • Experience in large-scale projects
  • Very good organisational skills and ability to work in a challenging environment under tight deadlines
  • Fluent English, German would be a strong advantage
