Finance Solutions Management (FSM) is responsible for a wide range of financial reporting platforms and provides business support for the Group's monthly and quarterly finance processes, such as external and internal management reporting, embedded value reporting, expense reporting, group planning and regulatory reporting according to supranational frameworks such as Solvency II. The team is part of the Global Finance Transformation organization within Group Finance. Global Finance Core (GFC), a global accounting and reporting solution providing reliable financial accounting functionality to more than 250 reporting units across the globe is a key area of responsibility for FSM. Global Finance Core is based on SAP-technology and includes a central General Ledger component (SAP FI), a reporting solution based on SAP Business Warehouse (BW) and the Finance Hub.

As a Business Process Analyst, you will be part of Shared Platform Services (formerly known as Global Finance CORE (GFC) Management) Team and will support the daily operational business as well incoming projects or programs in the area.
With your expertise, you will provide advisory to stakeholders in the Finance function and will have the responsibility to own the Reporting (BW and FI) related design components of Global Finance Core. In parallel, you will support our strategy to standardize Finance systems and data to achieve major advancements in the quality, overall automation and efficiency of our processes.

Your Role

As a Global Finance CORE Business Process Analyst (Reporting) your main responsibilities will involve:
  • Acting as key process expert and owner of Reporting (BW and FI), analytics and data visualization related CORE design components on a day-to-day basis
  • Ensuring that all Finance functional processes and subsequent change items are positioned correctly for ongoing sustainability
  • Consulting and supporting other Business Process Analyst along with Business Process Owners (BPOs) and relevant governance groups in the identification of process change and improvement needs
  • Providing third level support to power users i.e. for business and process questions
  • Representing CORE reporting build in design discussions and workshops related to GFC as well as representing the GFC team in projects related to GFCs
  • Monitor process support queues and ensures timely delivery of high priority changes
  • Contribute to Finance projects impacting the Global Finance Core by providing subject matter expertise and design proposals
Your Skills and Experience

As a Global Finance CORE Business Process Analyst (Reporting) your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or other related field
  • At least 5 years of experience working with SAP BW/BI reporting solutions and related ERP systems
  • Insurance industry experience
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking. Experience in utilizing Lean or/or Six Sigma methodologies is an asset
  • A service and results oriented personality with the ability to work well under pressure and with flexibility in working style and hours
  • A good communicator with good influencing skills
  • English fluent written and spoken
