This role is a meaningful and multi-faceted team head position within our Swiss Universal Bank embedded in our Business Area Institutional Clients based in Zurich. You will join a team with dynamic strengths that possess exceptional exposure to different Business Units and is well-established. In this function you will have the following unique opportunities:

  • You will be the interface to and single point of contact for divisional projects e.g. MiFID II, AIE, FIDLEG and FrinfraG
  • Extend and/or build your leadership skills as you will lead a team of 2
  • To be the Business Area representative in global and divisional steering committees
  • You are going to watch all projects and analyze their impact of regulation for each department (Asset Servicing, External Asset Managers, Investment Advisory & Solutions, Pension Funds & Corporate Investors and Financial Institutions)
  • Based on your analysis you will be in charge of a centralized implementation or you will support and coordinate implementation via departments
  • You will have the chance to build up a strong network to the various departments and therefore make yourself a name within the bank

We are looking for someone who has a deep understanding of one or more of the above mentioned Business Areas and a real passion for stakeholder management.

  • You have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in regulatory topics, project management or within one of the following business areas; Asset Servicing, External Asset Managers, Investment Advisory & Solutions, Pension Funds & Corporate Investors and Financial Institutions with an interest to make a change
  • A completed apprenticeship/ FH or University degree and relevant work experience ideally improved with job specific trainings
  • Strong interest for regulatory and compliance topics in combination with project work. If you have gained experience with regulatory topics it is considered an advantage
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to understand the needs of different business areas
  • High integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality at all times with a pronounced service attitude and a high sense of responsibility
  • Very good command of English and German is a requirement; other market relevant language skills would be an asset
