International Real Estate Financing Specialist with strong hotel expertise #108707

You will build a material international hospitality financing portfolio and be responsible for structuring, executing and negotiating tailor-made real estate financing transactions, while having a platform for your personal and professional development and the chance to grow your network.
  • In this role your main tasks include, but are not limited to:

    • Risk-adequate structuring of complex commercial real estate financing solutions and production of term-sheets, particularly for hotels in Western European key markets
    • Proactive management of the credit approval process including property valuation procedure by external appraisers
    • Drafting and negotiating the legal documentation / CPs with external legal counsels
    • Active, conclusion- and result-oriented dialogue with clients including covenants and pricing negotiations
    • Ongoing credit monitoring regarding debt service coverage ratio (DSCR), asset value retention and marketability, and compliance with contractual term

You Offer
  • University degree or equivalent (preferably in Business Administration, Economics)
  • Ideally you have at least 6 years of experience in structuring, executing and negotiating complex commercial real estate financing transactions with a significant focus on the hospitality sector
  • Strong technical skills to structure complex lending solutions with great awareness of legal and regulatory aspects in real estate transactions outside Switzerland, in particular for hotels
  • Solid skills in analyzing financial statements
  • Experience in credit risk management
  • Knowledge of LMA standard credit and security documents
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment with a diversified and demanding client base
  • Team player with a high level of flexibility, initiative and enthusiasm for the real estate business
  • Fluent in English; German, French, Italian and Spanish language skills are a plus
