We are looking for a Junior Financial Controller to support our team specialized in large-scale renewables and system-critical energy infrastructure investments:
THE ROLE:
- Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes
- Manage the monthly closing process in collaboration with our external accountant
- Prepare the periodic financial reporting to management and the board
- Support the regulatory reporting process and liaise with the risk department
- Manage liquidity planning and the accounts payable process
- Support projects to implement finance and company applications
- Provide ad hoc support with management inquiries, presentations and publications
THE CANDIDATE:
- Successfully completed academic degree or apprenticeship with relevant further training
- 2 – 4 years of relevant, well documented professional experience within a big-four firm or similar position within a financial services firm (asset manager, private equity, hedge fund)
- In-depth knowledge of finance, tax, accounting and financial modeling
- Strong attitude in establishing digitized processes and comprehensive knowledge of continuous improvement methods
- High degree of commitment and enjoys a fast paced, results-oriented environment with growth ambitions
- Team player, always happy to help while also able to prioritize and work proactively and independently when needed
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, strong desire to learn and high attention to detail
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Native or fluent English and German speaker, any additional language is a plus
