The role:

As a Principal Java Developer, you'll be hands-on in helping actively mentoring others but most of your day-to-day work will involve you:

• Developing a Micro-service based (SpringBoot), distributed platform that reads documents like humans do, but probably better.
• Engineering security layers that ensure the data held on this platform is not compromised.
• Getting to know the latest in Big Data technologies while ensuring you are up to date on the latest iteration of Java and perhaps other JVM centric languages (Scala etc).

The candidate:

You're a seasoned hand- having sharpened your skills alongside some of the most talented Java Developers has to offer. You'll have experience:

• With messaging platforms like Kafka and working with complex data streams.
• Extensive experience developing in Java, inclusive of engineering micro services in Spring/Spring boot.
• Experience developing highly scaleable platforms on the JVM.

The package:

• A salary of up to £75,000 per year.
• Pension scheme - matched scheme up to a maximum of 6% from iManage
• Bonus - 10% performance related bonus paid out twice a year
