KDB Developer

You already know of the benefits of KDB as you've worked as a KDB Developer before, but you've likely pursued opportunities in the consulting space with loads of travel- seeing the world is great but sometimes it's nice to slow things down and see the family.

Now more than ever companies are turning to data to make informed decisions that will see them become profitable for years to come, and it's the KDB Developers of the world who are creating the applications that make this possible.

In FinTech it's the KDB Developer that creates the applications that enable decisions that fuel the global economy, whereas in motor racing it is KDB that gives competitors the edge over the competition by allowing engineers to make quick decisions that ensure victory.

Long story short, KDB is here to stay- and now we have Belfast-based role that's non-consulting for you to explore.

The Client-

  • Investment banking innovation hub, creating real-time applications that drive decisions on a global scale.
  • The applications developed here drive operations in locations like London and New York.

  • Developing the databases (KDB/Q) that power decisions on a global scale.
  • Becoming involved in the design and development of low-latency systems, presenting data to end users in real time.
  • Developing security measures that ensure the applications you help engineer are fully compliant with the finance industry's high standards.

Your experience-

  • Experience developing KDB/Q based applications/databases.
  • Experience developing real-time systems and applications.
  • Experience managing projects and applying project management principles to tasks.

What's on offer?

  • A salary of £40,000-£50,000 per year, with 10% bonus.

  • Healthcare with family cover.
