The Clearing Operations and Post-Trade Services division clears and guarantees all matched transactions occurring through its facilities for CME Group as well as manages operational aspects of our Reset Optimization business. Furthermore, the Clearing House establishes and monitors financial requirements for clearing members and sets minimum performance bond levels for all products traded on markets for which it provides clearing services. The Clearing House, dealing exclusively with clearing members, holds clearing members accountable for positions regardless of whether such positions are for the accounts of individual members, non member customers or the clearing member's own account. Conversely, as the contra side to every position, the Clearing House is held accountable to the clearing members for financial performance of all open positions.  On top of the Clearing responsibilities, this role will assist with the successful completion of various Reset runs to ensure clients risks are managed appropriately.  Reset is a dedicated provider of risk mitigation services in the derivatives marketplace.  Reset's matching engine effectively streamlines complex processes to provide access to a deep global liquidity pool.

Principal Accountabilities:
This position will provide support to current business, on-board new clearing firms or clients, work to engage customers on new initiatives and participate in Reset risk management runs.  This role requires a dynamic and team-oriented candidate that can successfully lead a firm, platform or client through the implementation of a new initiative and execute operational processes effectively. 
•       Provide support to customers of clearing services for existing business
  • Document customer facing issues and work to implement resolutions
  • Address or escalate issues concerning clearing on-boarding, e.g., technical support, risk management
  • Consistent and organized reporting to team and management
  • Support new clearing customer on-boarding, new exchange or product initiatives
  • Execute Reset operational processes
    • Static data management
    • Process client portfolio submissions, analyze, and apply rules and restrictions in order to manage the risk of the portfolio during the Reset cycle
    • Work directly with the Sales team and Risk Specialists during each Reset cycle to deliver industry leading results in risk management
    • Trade and report generation
    • Trade delivery
  • Ability to learn quickly in a demanding, fast paced, environment and support new growth initiatives
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of clearing as well as the functions of respective groups of the clearing division
  • Ability to come up with innovative solutions
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships within a global team across all time zones

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Industry experience required
  • Knowledge and familiarity of OTC markets preferred
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
