The Financial Crime Operations (FCO) & Financial Crime Intelligence Unit (FIU) ensures that Deutsche Bank systems are used within the legal and regulatory Anti-Money Laundering (AML) framework for the UK and EU, and to escalate issues of concern to Anti Financial Crime (AFC) Management in a timely manner.
In this role, you will provide strategic direction and leadership across teams responsible for alert management, AML investigations, case resolutions, financial intelligence and law enforcement engagement. You will provide oversight and approval of Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR) to be filed with the UK authorities and accountable for mitigating the risk of regulatory breach, and any loss to the reputation of the Bank because of its failure to comply with Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorist Financing (AML/CTF) laws, regulations and guidelines. You will ensure high quality investigations, codes of conduct and standards of good practice, and acting as the Site Head (Birmingham) of AFC and sitting on the Birmingham Leadership Council.
