Job Description:

As a Senior Resourcing Adviser in our Early Careers recruitment team, you'll be at the sharp end of shaping the next generation of talent at Grant Thornton. You'll lead award-winning strategies, own your region's hiring targets, and turn great candidates into future colleagues - from that first spark of interest right through to their first day.

There's never been a more exciting time to join Early Careers - with plenty happening across the space. You'll be splitting your time between hands-on recruitment delivery and the strategic projects shaping what comes next - so this is a role for someone who thrives on a working at pace and a good challenge.

A look into the role

  • You'll be juggling day-to-day recruitment delivery alongside strategic priorities for the wider Early Careers team, often wearing several hats at once.

  • Helping steer our award-winning trainee recruitment strategy and delivering the projects and communications that bring it to life across the firm.

  • Owning your region or service line's hiring targets, and making sure every outcome is timely, high-quality, and genuinely inclusive.

  • Designing and delivering our conversion programmes such as work experience, summer internships and our new Talent Track partnership degree programme.

  • Getting out there - planning and running attraction and pre-joiner events that build real connections and set candidates up for a smooth start.

  • Becoming the go-to adviser for senior stakeholders in your business area - trusted, strategic, and always one step ahead.

  • Building a recruitment strategy tailored to your hiring regions, balancing national ambitions with local market realities.

  • Partnering with our employer brand and RPO teams to attract diverse, high-calibre talent through smart, well-designed assessment.

  • Running the full recruitment lifecycle end-to-end - attraction, engagement, assessment, onboarding - and owning it at every stage.

  • Helping design and deliver assessment and selection processes, from first touchpoint to final round.

  • Using data to spot what's working, fix what isn't, and keep pushing the process forward - including staying curious about technology and AI in your day-to-day role.

  • Staying ahead of the curve as our go-to expert on everything happening in student recruitment.

Knowing you're right for us

  • Significant experience in high-volume early careers or student recruitment ideally within the Professional Services, Finance or Banking space (other industries will be considered), with a strong understanding of national strategies and local market dynamics.

  • Experience designing and delivering work experience programmes and summer internships, from initial concept through to on-the-day delivery.

  • A proven ability to lead complex recruitment initiatives and projects from concept through to delivery and review.

  • Skilled at engaging, influencing, and managing senior stakeholders and business leaders.

  • Strong project management skills, comfortable owning deliverables, timelines, and outcomes across multiple concurrent workstreams.

  • Experience working in a dispersed, cross-functional team and adept at balancing independent decision-making with collaborative input.

  • Confident designing and delivering events and programmes that are aligned to brand, diversity, and talent goals.

  • A passion for creating outstanding candidate experiences, with a continuous improvement mindset and data-led approach.

  • It would be beneficial if you have had experience in designing and delivering degree apprenticeship programmes, however not essential.

Knowing we're right for you

Embracing uniqueness, the culture at Grant Thornton thrives on the contributions of all our people. We never settle for what is easy; we look beyond to deliver the right thing, for everyone. Building an inclusive culture, where we value difference and respect our colleagues, helps our people to perform at the best of their ability and realise their potential.
