Canada Life are currently recruiting for a Creative Services Coordinator to join our marketing team. This position can be located in either our Potters Bar, Bristol or London office.

Job Summary

The purpose of the role is to assist the Creative Studio Manager in managing the flow of work through the creative studio on a day to day basis. This will include:

• Checking work in and out of the studio

• Working on purchase orders for print
• Liaising with Marketing and other colleagues to ensure the smooth progress of items thorough the studio
• Miscellaneous help to the Creatives Studio Manager and others in the studio to ensure its smooth running

 

Duties/Responsibilities

• Checking items on and out of the studio and keeping a log of who is dealing with items and where they are up to in terms of completion and other requirements 

• Creating purchase orders for printed material on the instruction of the Creative Studio Manager and follow up on those purchase orders matching items delivered to the POs so they can be     paid 
• Communicating requirements and issues with others in the studio to ensure its smooth running. Reviewing progress on items within the studio on a regular basis to ensure the workload log is up to date and capacity is utilised effectively 
• Assisting the Creative Studio Manager in the running of the team. This may include a number of different tasks but will i9nclude checking supplies and whether they need re-ordering, liaising with other departments to ensure the smooth running of the systems within the studio (IT for breakdowns or other technical issues)

Accountabilities

• Accountable for working with key stakeholders in marketing and the wider business to identify the key metrics required to produce meaningful measurements of marketing activities

• Accountable for designing new dashboards in Qlik Sense (or other business intelligence tool) which will measure the effectiveness of marketing engagement activities and conversions to sales and which can be used to lead to better decision-making, improved ROI and better use of resources
• Deputising for the Senior Marketing Planning and Compliance Manager
• Accountable for co-ordinating the production of the annual marketing plan and managing the processes for ongoing tracking
• Accountable for monitoring and recording team member attestation and ongoing compliance with relevant governance and risk frameworks and policies
• Accountable for engaging with relevant projects to identify their data requirements

Knowledge/Skills/Experience

• Direct experience of the Qlik Sense business intelligence tool (experience of similar tools would be acceptable)

• Experience of market analysis and interpretation of data
• Ability to see business opportunities and threats within market information and intelligence
• Highly numerate and IT literate, especially in MS Project and MS Excel
• Knowledge/experience of Salesforce/Pardot would be an advantage
• Experience of working within the financial services sector would be an advantage
• Strong communication skills both verbally and written, and be competent at presenting market intelligence tailored to each audience
• Be a self-starter with a proactive approach to the role
• Good organisational and time-management skills
• The ability to work well under pressure, use initiative and work both as a team and individually as required

• Degree in Marketing, English or other appropriate subject
• PRINCE2
