IT Manager | Financial Services | Migration | Maintenance | 45k-55k

Overview of the Role:

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in designing, planning, managing and implementation of IT strategy, migration and maintenance projects including Exchange/Office 365, domain and Active Directory/Group Policy environments (on premise and cloud), networks and Security Principles (VPNs, DHCP and DNS, Wi-Fi, VOIP Switches, Routers) and omni channel contact centres (Avaya/Mitel). They will additionally be responsible and accountable for the smooth running of the Company's IT systems and IT support department supporting 150 employees.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design, plan, manage and implement IT migrations and strategy
  • Ensure the protection of the company's IT assets and the integrity, security and privacy of information including security of data, network access, disaster recovery and business continuity
  • Develop and communicate policies and procedures throughout the company
  • Oversight of the internal IT support team through mentoring, training, communicating of job expectations and appraising performance
  • Create and maintain relationships with 3rd party solution vendors

Essential Skills

  • 5 years plus of IT Manager experience working in a similar role with the ability to get stuck in and work hands-on where required
  • Excellent knowledge of Exchange/Office 365, domain and Active Directory/Group Policy environments (on premise and cloud), networks and Security Principles (VPNs, DHCP and DNS, Wi-Fi, VOIP, Switches, Routers) and omni channel contact centres (Avaya/Mitel)
  • Experience in writing and implementing ISO27001 policies and procedures

Desirable Skills

  • Azure, AWS and Google Cloud experience
  • Prince2 and/or ITIL certified
  • Familiar with the financial services marketplace and/or regulated environment
  • Microsoft/Cisco or equivalent certification
  • Working knowledge of PCI-DSS, GDPR and DPIAs.
