Python AWS Cloud Engineer - Cambridge
Salary: circa £65,000 base
Job description: Client This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to be a key figure in the AWS architecture and create secure and highly scalable cloud systems. If you like to be involved in key decisions and have a significant influence over the building and maintaining of the cloud infrastructure, this is (absolutely) the perfect time to become part of this dynamic team.
Based in Cambridge, the aim of this research start-up is to build global biodata resources. Currently, their focus is gathering large scale real-world health data, and integrating it with genomics so it can be used to innovate in drug development and healthcare provision.
The successful candidate will be agile, a critical thinker and willing to work with a range of cloud infrastructure, from database/server systems to modern serverless architectures.
Responsibilities - Creation of systems within AWS environment using Terraform
- Creating a CI/CD pipeline
- Maintaining correct approaches to code management
- Developing new machine learning pipelines
Requirements - Experience within cloud infrastructure, with a preference for AWS and serverless architectures
- Strong Python programming skills
- Container technologies such as Docker
